Why do we feel the need to find the the latest approach to losing weight? We deprive ourselves of foods we love. We try fad diets with promises to make the weight fall off effortlessly and inevitably, once we lose the weight, we go back to the way we ate before. From there, we proceed to put back the weight we just lost. What if we just gave ourselves a manageable calorie allowance so we could regulate our food intake. We could then and track the calories that we burn through exercise? That would represent a common sense approach to diet without sacrificing the food you love.
